R: Kurzuwan followed by shahada and
then Allah at bottom with annulets on either side.
These issues were minted while the city
was under siege by Ghengis Khan. Rabi'a is the more common of the two issues, the
subsequent issue of Jumada is rarer as the city fell during that time or
shortly thereafter. The Mongols destroyed the city and it’s population. The
location was likely situated in Northern Afghanistan.
